Garland Area Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)3 non-profit and an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, we partner with local individuals and organizations to provide safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes for low-income families in the Greater Garland area. Women Build Week Starts May 2nd, 2015
Ladies get your hard hats on!Come help us build during National Women Build week May 2nd - May 11, 2015 in partnership with Lowe's! National Women Build Week encourages women to learn about the issue of poverty housing while helping build along side other women in the community and the partner family on a Habitat home in Garland. We have several dates for volunteers to sign up. Volunteers receive a Women Build t-shirt and other goodies. Can't build but want to help? We can still use your talent. The Joshua Experience, May 22, 2015!
The Joshua Experience "God's Big Band" to perform on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Springcreek Church, 2660 BeltLine Rd. in Garland at 7:30pm.Tickets are $15 each, $10 for students with ID and those age 65 and older. Proceeds benefit Garland Area Habitat for Humanity. Come be inspired and uplifted by the musical talents of The Joshua Experience. Garland Area Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with The City of Garland's Vital Neighborhoods and Home Depot. DIY Garland is a new program to improve curb appeal in selected Garland neighborhoods.
