Adopt-a-Lot

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland has rolled out a new volunteer program for groups. Interested individuals or groups* can agree to adopt one of our home lots to perform the following once-a-month or bi-weekly maintenance until the home is completed and the family moves in:

  • Mowing

  • Weed eating

  • Brush removal

  • Trash removal

Must be at least 14 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a supervising adult in a ratio of one adult per every four children.

Volunteers performing these tasks free up much needed funds to be used for construction and give people the opportunity to give back to their community.

If your group is interested in adopting a lot, please contact us at 972-272-8530 or stop by the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland office at 1110 Main Street in Garland.
