Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland  is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, International, we partner with local individuals and organizations to provide safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes for low-income families in the greater Garland area. Our Lowe's Women Build at 1721 S. 5th Street is coming along nicely. A special thanks to all the women who have volunteered since fall 2011 to construct this home. Help Build the Avalos Home! The Avalos family is a HFHGG partner family whose home will be built at 212 Alto in Garland, TX. The family currently shares a small home with relatives and dreamed of a home they could call their own.  Being selected as a HFHGG partner family was a dream come true and construction will start soon. Nancy and Cristian Avalos will work a minimum of 350 'sweat equity' hours building their home along with HFHGG volunteers. We rely on the generosity of volunteers and donors like you to build homes for low-income families in Garland. Please consider giving a gift that will last for generations.
